Maddy joined Meares Williams in November 2018 after graduating from the University of Canterbury in 2017 with an LLB and BA majoring in Psychology and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court in 2018.
During her last year at university she obtained a Summer Research Scholarship and worked with law school lecturers on the “Perceptions on Surrogacy Law in New Zealand” project.
Maddy is involved in a wide range of commercial and property matters, including the following areas:
- Conveyancing and General Property Law
- Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Occupation Right Agreements
- Commercial- general use licences and company restructuring
- Relationship Property Law
Outside of the law, Maddy enjoys cooking, playing the drums and guitar, and ultimate frisbee.
